Fred’s Bio
I’ve been playing Jazz and The Standards as the host of Breathing Room® since November 2004. For thirteen years, I produced interviews and features at National Public Radio’s Morning Edition, Weekend Edition/Sunday, and Weekend All Things Considered. I've also been on the production staff of Minnesota Public Radio’s A Prairie Home Companion and served as Executive Producer of Talk Programming at North Carolina Public Radio (WUNC-FM). I grew up in New York City, where I was a devoted radio listener.
